Happy Monday!

I watched the PGA tournament this weekend, and I love watching the pros practice before their start time. They are on the putting green visualizing their puts or hitting different shots at the driving range.  They are focused and fully in the zone.  I started thinking about my golf game and all the technology available today.  GPS to help with distance, stronger and more accurate clubs, and several other tools to take advantage of.  But the thing is, you still have to put in the work to get the desired results. You need to practice, focus and stay in the moment.  These tools are a guide to help you win, not make magic happen without effort.

Just about in every area of our life whether business or personal we need to get some type of results.  It doesn’t matter if you have the nicest notebook and pen or the latest productivity app because if you don’t put action to it, then it means very little.  You have to find what tools work best on your terms that will help you get the desired results.

I still like handwriting my notes, and I do use two key apps to help me achieve my results.  I use Evernote and ToDoist but that is just my preference.  But what’s important is that I have a strategy for how I use these apps and how I take notes.  I also have a process every day that helps me follow up, update, revise and yep get results.

Find what works best for you

Create a strategy

Define a consistent process

And execute for results

At the end of the day, it really is about results and how you get there should be up to you.

Wishing you much success….
